The Elling House, with its historic architecture and location in Virginia City, Montana, is an ideal setting for a cultural resources center.  As a nonprofit organization, its operations serve a variety of educational, entertainment, and hospitality purposes.  Presenting programs in the arts, sciences, and humanities, the Elling House encourages active and enthusiastic participation from its members, its audiences, as well as its performers and presenters.

Our newest news!!

We are excited to announce that the EHAHC is poised to take our organization to a new level.  We have a unique opportunity to purchase the historic Elling House where our programs have taken place since our formation in 2008. Our goal is to acquire a permanent home for arts and humanities in Madison County. The EHAHC’s heritage and foundation is built upon Mary Elling’s dedication to bringing cultural events to her community in the late 1800’s.  We hope to carry on her legacy!  Learn more on our Elling House Acquisition Plan page.
